According to the data of the Federal Ministry of Health, by the time when Corona was first reported in the country in 2020, 1.48 thousand people died due to the epidemic, which is much less than in 2021, when 3.32 thousand people died in 2021. corona.

On the other hand, the RGI report said: “Only 1.3 percent of the total 82,000 deaths recorded during 2020 could obtain medical help from qualified medical professionals, while 45 percent did not receive treatment.” According to the data, the death toll due to lack of treatment in 2019 amounted to 34.5 percent.

Of the total recorded deaths, 28 percent occurred in hospitals, which is higher than in other places where the deceased received medical assistance. About 16.4 percent of the deaths recorded were under “medical care other than institutions”.

High infant mortality in urban areas
Referring to infant mortality, the report said that in 2020, the infant mortality rate recorded in rural areas was only 23.4 percent while in urban areas it was 76.6 percent.
