Amit Shah has a meeting with Duval and Sinha

Amarnath Yatra starts from 30th June this year. This can be gauged from the fact that Home Minister Amit Shah himself held a meeting yesterday. Talk about security arrangements and issue necessary orders. He said that it would be a priority of the government that the people could easily and without any delay get the darshan from the sacred Amarnath Cave. The meeting was attended by Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha, Security Adviser Ajit Doval and several other senior security officials.

A drone will monitor the flight, and CRPF will provide security

In this meeting, officials from Jammu and Kashmir Police and members of the intelligence agencies spoke about the threat of a terrorist attack on the Ilitra River. These fears have increased especially after the attacks on minorities in the valley in the past few days. The reason for this is that the terrorists, tired of the constant operation by the security forces, are now targeting the general public, which was not the case before. The CRPF personnel will take care of the security of the Amarnath Yatra. Apart from this, the entire route will be monitored by drones so that any kind of danger can be sensed immediately. Insurance cover of Rs 5 lakh will also be provided to all people who go to the Amarnath Yatra.
