In judo, Sushila Devi Lekmapam had to settle for silver after losing in the women’s 48 kg final, while Vijay won the bronze with a time of 60 kg. India beat Singapore 3-0 in the semi-finals of the mixed badminton tournament to reach the final and take at least one silver, Harginder Kaur won the bronze in the 71kg category. He lifted India’s ninth medal at CWG 2022 by lifting a total of 212 kg. The Indian men’s hockey team had to play a 4-4 draw in their pool b match against England. Boxers Amit Bangal, Muhammad Hasanuddin and Ashish Kumar Chaudhry reached the quarter-finals. In weightlifting, Ajay Singh took fourth place in the men’s 81kg category. 01:25 am: Boxer Ashish Kumar reaches the quarter-finals
Boxer Ashish Kumar entered the quarter-finals of the men’s 80 kg category after defeating Travis Newey in the round of 16. Ashish won this match 5-0.
01:10 am: Harginder Kaur wins by luck in weightlifting Bronze Medal
Indian weightlifter Harginder Kaur won the bronze medal in the 71kg category just by luck. He lifted India’s ninth medal at CWG 2022 by lifting a total of 212 kg. Harginder lifted 113kg on his first attempt at the clean jerk round. He lifted 116 kg on the second attempt and 119 kg on the third attempt.

Lakshya Sen led India to the final of the 2022 Commonwealth Games by winning back-to-back matches. With this, India’s other medal was confirmed. India defeated Singapore 3-0 in the semi-finals of the mixed badminton event to reach the final and now has at least one silver medal for itself.

Indian squash player Yoshna Chinapa suffered a quarter-final loss, Yoshna lost 0-3 (9-11, 5-11, 13-15) against Canadian Holly Naughton.
6:40pm: Sajan Prakash fails to reach semi-finals of 100m butterfly
Indian swimmer Sajan Prakash’s campaign at the 2022 Commonwealth Games ended when he failed to reach the semi-finals of the men’s 100m butterfly. Veteran Sagan clocked 54.36 seconds to finish seventh in his warm up and 19 overall.
6:10 PM: In boxing, Muhammad Hasanuddin reached the quarter-finals of the men’s 57kg featherweight category. Hasanuddin defeated Bangladeshi Muhammad Saleem 5-0 in a one-sided fashion.
6:00 pm: Indian judoka Vijay Kumar won the rematch against Dylan Monroe of Scotland. Vijay will now go for the bronze medal match, where he will face the Cypriot Prato.
5:28 PM: Sushila Devi in the Judo Final
In judo, Sushila Devi reached the final and has at least confirmed the silver medal for India. Sushila beat Priscilla Morand of Mauritius in the semi-finals of the 48kg category. Apart from her, Indian judoka Sushila Likmapam reached the semi-finals in the 48kg weight class. She defeated Harriet Bonfils of Malawi 10-0. She, too, is still in the race for medals.
5:15 p.m.: Judo: Jaslin lost, and now she’s entering the Bronze Medal match
Judoka Jaslin Singh lost to Scotland’s Finley Allen in the men’s 66kg semi-finals. Jaslin will now play against Nathan Keats of Australia for the bronze medal.
4:55 pm: Amit Bangal wins his first match and reaches the quarter-finals. Boxer Vanuatu 5-0.
4:10 pm: Ajay Singh lifted 176 kg in his second attempt, but lost 180 kg on his third attempt. With that, Ajayi was knocked out of the race to win the medal.
