Congress has sent notifications to Home Secretary and Law Minister alleging leakage of investigation relating to Rahul Gandhi by ED. He demanded that Congress take action against Executive Directorate officials who “selectively leaked” information related to Rahul Gandhi’s interrogation to certain media groups. The main opposition party also sent legal notices to Federal Home Minister Amit Shah, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Law Minister Keren Rieju. In the notice, Congress Representative and head of the party’s legal cell Vivek Tanga asked union ministers to stop using the ED for political vendetta and “spread false speech” about the former Congress president.

“Rahul Gandhi cannot make such allegations against my father,” the son of the late Congressman Motilal Fura said.

The notice was sent by Congress after some media reports claimed that Rahul Gandhi told the CEO that he had no idea about the deals of “Associated Journals” as well as “Young Indian”.
