Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s Big Announcement on Free Electricity from 1st October will be given on request only


CM Arvind Kejriwal made a big announcement on Thursday regarding electricity subsidies in Delhi. Kejriwal said that the current subsidies for electricity in Delhi will be changed. From October 1, 2022, he said, support will be provided to those who will claim it. That is, if the energy consumer wants electricity subsidies, he will receive subsidized electricity for free or subsidized as now.

During the online press conference, he said the Delhi government will now ask people if they want to benefit from the electricity subsidy. If they choose, they will be provided with electricity subsidy. Let us inform that at present, Delhi consumers do not have to pay any bills up to 200 units while consuming 201 to 400 units of electricity per month gets subsidy of Rs 800.

Delhi Cabinet approves Delhi start policy
On the issue of unemployment, CM Kejriwal said the government is committed to making Delhi the startup capital of India. Notifying the Cabinet of the Delhi start-up policy, Kejriwal said the government will form a panel of CAs where entrepreneurs can get help. The government will pay the experts. He said the government would relax entrepreneurs. Students from government institutions can take one to two years off to focus on business.
