Instagram has been discontinued for some time in India. Several Indian users faced an Instagram outage, about which they complained on social media. DownDetector, a website that tracks outages, also confirmed the outage and said users were unable to log into the app. In addition to DownDetector, affected users have taken to Twitter to complain about their issue. However, Meta has not given any confirmation regarding the power outage.
Mobile app users affected by outage
As per the report, hundreds of users in India have taken to the outage tracking platform DownDetector to complain about the difficulties in accessing the photo-sharing app. The server error mainly affected the Instagram mobile app users, however, the website is doing just fine.
The bottom detector shows that the photo-sharing app experienced an outage around 11am.
People complained on social media
According to Downdetector, most users are having trouble accessing the app. Several affected Instagram users have taken to Twitter to talk about the issues they are facing and most of them are related to server-side issues.
Several Twitter users have posted screenshots of the app’s screen showing a server error. The app shows an error while logging into the app and says “Error.. feedback_required”.
