According to the project plan, the government will provide 1.5 GB of free data to select families at a speed of 10 Mbps to 15 Mbps per day. Bids for the project have already been launched to see which local Internet Service Providers (ISPs) can do the work.

The state government plans to provide this free internet to select families by the end of May 2022. So there is not much time left, and local ISPs need to be identified quickly if the government is to stay on the right track with its plans.

In the first phase of the project, the government will identify about 500 families so that they can get free internet. This will definitely help in boosting the economy and awareness in the country. Families who cannot afford to go online will be able to explore the world of connectivity and opportunity with the help of the state government.
