The Initial Public Offering (IPO) of the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) will open soon after. It’s called a landmark because it’s the largest initial public offering ever. The government will raise around Rs 21,000 crore from this IPO. Earlier last year, Paytm had an initial public offering of Rs 18,500 crore.

Subscription details: Let us tell you that the IPO of LIC will open to retail and institutional investors today i.e. May 4th and close on May 9th until 5pm. 15 lot shares are held for LIC. Meanwhile, the share price range has been set at Rs 902-949. In this, some shares were held for existing policyholders and LIC employees. A discount of Rs 45 per share will be given to retail investors and eligible employees and Rs 60 per share to policyholders.
