MLAs AAP meeting tomorrow

Adami Public Party Coordinator and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has called a meeting at CM House on Saturday 14 May in regards to the bulldozer work issued by Municipal Bodies in different districts of the capital. All AAP MLAs were required to attend the meeting.

According to the information, the anti-infringement campaign by the municipal companies continues in Delhi. During this, the authorities face opposition from local residents in all places. Locals claimed that even the legitimate buildings were demolished.

Significantly, all three municipal corporations in Delhi are governed by the BJP – South Delhi Municipal Corporation, North Delhi Municipal Corporation and East Delhi Municipal Corporation. The civic body in North Delhi had on 20 April launched a campaign against encroachment in Jahangirpuri, where communal clashes had erupted a few days earlier during the Hanuman Jayanti procession. However, this campaign was stopped by order of the Supreme Court. Subsequently, anti-trespassing campaign was carried out in districts like Shaheen Bagh, New Friends Colony, Mangollpuri, Karol Bagh, Vishnu Garden, Dwarka and Najafgarh.
