Mutual funds bought these mid-cap stocks in April – Business News India

Vodafone-Idea, Ruchi Soya and Zee Entertainment are among the mid-cap stocks bought by local mutual funds in April. Meanwhile, mutual funds sold shares in Escorts, Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC and Syngene International last month. Domestic mutual funds saw a total inflow of Rs 15,900 crore in April as equity funds declined. Total inflow into equity funds was Rs 28,500 crore in March.

Mutual funds now own Rs 36.27 crore a share of Voda-Idea
Fund managers owned Rs 2.43 crore of shares in L&T Finance Holding, worth Rs 213 crore, at the end of April this year. In March, the fund managers had Rs 1.37 crore from the company and it was worth Rs 110 crore. This was stated in a report published by the “Economic Times”. Mutual funds increased their stake in Vodafone Idea. Mutual funds now own 36.27 crore shares in the company. The holding value of Vodafone-Idea mutual funds is Rs 345 crore. Earlier, the holding value of the telecom mutual funds was Rs 221 crore.

Canara Bank Mutual Funds exposure increased to Rs.1.573 crore in April. It settled at Rs 1,326 crore in March. Besides, local mutual funds have also increased their stake in Ruchi Soya, TVS Motor, Nippon Life India AMC and LIC Housing Finance. Mutual funds sold Escorts shares in April 2022. Escorts had 8 million shares in mutual funds in March 2022, while MFs had 55,000 shares left in April. The holding value of the company’s mutual funds decreased from Rs.1353 crore to Rs.902 crore.
