Nupur Sharma Approached Supreme Court of Prophet Muhammad – India India News – Nupur Sharma at Supreme Court

Former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma moved the Supreme Court on Friday. Sharma demanded that the ongoing cases against him be transferred to different states. At present, the hearing of the petition is continuing in court. Sharma is facing investigation over his controversial comments about the Prophet Muhammad during a television debate. The BJP also suspended him from party membership.

The court has taken a strong stand against Sharma and while hearing the petition the court said it threatened the security of the nation. It was said that because of them there were unrest throughout the country. At the same time, the court also said that he should apologize to the whole country for his statements.

According to news agency ANI, Sharma wants to transfer the flight information recorded against him in several states to Delhi. He petitioned the Supreme Court with this request. During this, the former BJP spokeswoman informed that she is constantly receiving death threats. Because of the controversial remarks on the Prophet, there was a lot of uproar in many parts of the country.

The tension is not over yet
On June 28, a tailor named Kanhaiyal Teli was brutally murdered by two young men in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The investigation revealed that the accused Riyad and Muhammad Ghaus had killed Al-Khayyat because of the job supporting Nupur Sharma. Not only that, he also made a video of this entire incident and later shot another video and also took responsibility for the murder. However, the two killers were arrested by the police from Rajsamand.
