Obed McCoy is the first bowler to take 6 wickets against India at T20 International


West Indies cricketer Obed McCoy took a total of six wickets in the second T20 International against India, spending just 17 times in four overs. McCoy became the first player in the world to take six wickets against India at the T20 Internationals. McCoy showed the way to the stand to Captain Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, Dinesh Karthik, R Ashwin and Bovneshwar Kumar. McCoy sent off Rohit on the first ball of the match and it looked like India couldn’t recover from the blow again.

Earlier, the top bowler in the T20 Internationals against India was Vanindu Hasaranga of Sri Lanka, who got 4/9 in Colombo in 2021. Earlier, no player in the world took five or more wickets in T20 Internationals against India . The batsmen of Team India had no answer for McCoy’s balls and that was the reason why Team India couldn’t even play the full 20 shows.

The Indian team was reduced to just 138 times in an increase of 19.4. In response, the West Indies won the match by scoring 141 runs to five wickets in 19.2 increments. McCoy was voted Man of the Match for his impressive performance. This was McCoy’s first time at the T20 Internationals, when he took more than five wickets.
