The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has denied reports of Rahul Dravid joining the BJP job. The board of directors denied the news, citing the former cricketer. On Monday, the BJP MLA claimed that Dravid will attend the Yuva Morcha National Action Committee session to be held in Dharamsala in Himachal Pradesh.
BCCI’s director of media, Molin Parekh, told the Hindustan Times that Dravid called him to say “the news is fake”. MLA of Dharamsala seat told Vishal Nahariya that Dravid’s presence in the program will be used to send a message to young people that they can move forward not only in politics but also in other areas.
In a conversation with news agency ANI, BJP MLA said, “The BJP Yuva Morcha National Action Committee meeting will be held in Dharamsala on May 12-15. The BJP national leadership and Himachal Pradesh leadership will be involved. Also attending the session will be BJP National Chairman JP Nada, National Organization Minister and Union Minister.
He has said, ‘Indian cricketer Rahul Dravid will be involved in this too. Seeing his success, a message will be sent among the young people that we can move forward not only in politics but also in other areas.
The special thing is that this BJP meeting is being organized at a time when the lower house elections will be held in the state at the end of the year. In 2017, the BJP succeeded in forming a government in the state with 44 out of 68 seats. At the same time, Congress won 21 seats. While losing 3 seats at the expense of others.
