The ED team arrived at Sanjay Raut’s home around 7 a.m. on Sunday. MP Shiv Sena was arrested after nine hours of questioning here. After this late night ED arrested Sanjay Raut. The ED also says that about Rs 11,000 in cash has been recovered from Raut’s house. Sanjay Raut’s medical treatment was performed by the emergency department this morning after which he was shown in court. In court, the head of the emergency department requested eight days of pretrial detention for Raut. However, the court allowed detention only until August 4th. Meanwhile, this afternoon, former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray arrived at Sanjay Raut’s home and met his family. Then, at the press conference, Thackeray fully supported Raut and described him as a true cynic chef.
