Those Who Humiliated Hanuman Chalisa Defeated Devendra Vadnavis Said About Rajya Sabha Election Results

After the BJP won three seats from the Rajya Sabha of Maharashtra, party leader Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday criticized the state’s Governor Shiv Sena, saying that those who chanted the Hanuman Chalisa must face defeat. After the election results were announced on Saturday morning, Vadnavis presented a new version of Hanuman Chalisa to the independent MLA’s Ravi Rana.

The former Prime Minister mocked the party leaders and the media and said that those who insult the Hanuman Chalisa have lost the elections. MLA Ravi Rana, his wife and Lok Sabha member Navneet Rana, both independents, announced in April that they would be reading Hanuman Chalisa outside Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray’s residence in Mumbai. However, he later canceled his plan.
