Now you will be able to tweet with your friend. Twitter will introduce this special feature to its users soon. In fact, Twitter has started testing a new feature that allows users to co-author (co-author) a tweet.Co-author) Or simply, this feature will allow users to post a single tweet. That is, you will only be able to make one Tweet with your friend. Twitter itself confirmed that it shared a tweet (Tweet)” which will enable “two authors to share the spotlight, showcase their contributions, and connect with more people.”
This Tweet sharing feature is mainly for creators and brands who want to collaborate on content and campaigns on the platform and is similar to the collaboration feature available on Instagram.
Notably, the Twitter Co-tweet feature was first noticed by app researcher Alessandro Palozzi in April of this year. And now, the company has officially confirmed this feature.
What is a shared tweet?
As Twitter explains, a co-authored tweet is a co-authored tweet posted simultaneously to both authors’ profiles and their followers’ timelines. Twitter users can recognize a shared tweet when they see the profile pictures and usernames of the authors in the title. Only two authors can tweet a shared tweet at a time.

How does the Co-Tweet feature work?
Twitter’s co-tweet feature is easy to use. Once two authors have decided on the content of a tweet, one author must participate in the tweet and invite the co-author. When a co-author accepts the invitation to share a tweet, CoTweet immediately posts it to each author’s profile and timeline for each of their followers. Note that the content of a shared Tweet cannot be edited or modified once the invitation to participate has been sent on Twitter. Also, a Twitter user can send joint tweet invites to people who follow them on the micro-blogging platform and who have public accounts.

Who will be able to use the shared tweet feature?
And as far as availability is concerned, Twitter said that the Twitter sharing feature will be available to select accounts in Canada, Korea, and the United States. The company also warned, “At the end of this experiment, we may turn this feature off and any CoTweets that have been created may be removed.” This means that Twitter’s plans to offer this feature to its large user base are still uncertain. In the end, this may be one of the features that you may never bring to the platform.
