The court issued a major ruling in the dispute between actor Lok Sabha MP Anubhav Mohanty and his wife Varsha Priyadarshini. The SDJM Court in Cuttack on Thursday ordered Varsha Priyadarshi to vacate the ancestral home of the veteran Mohanty. Apart from this, the court has told Anubhav that he will give Varsha an amount of Rs 30,000 per month for maintenance by the 10th of every month. The court ordered Varsha to vacate Anubhav Mohanty’s ancestral home within two months after finding a place to stay. In fact, Anubhav Mohanty has filed a claim against Varsha saying that I am willing to arrange a separate house for him, but he should leave my accommodation.
Apart from this, Mohinti also demanded that Varsha disclose her sources of income. The court retained the decision last week after a hearing in the case in which the order has now been issued. Recently, Anubhav Mohanty shared three videos on social media in which he accused Varsha of bringing the family quarrel to the road. Then, Varsha filed a case against Anubhav and his family at Purighat railway station. He said Anubhav Mohinti defamed his image by posting videos on social media. This is also at a time when the matter is between the two of them in court.
Not only that, the Orissa High Court last week advised Anubhav Mohanty not to write or share videos against his wife on social media. Divorce case continues between the two. Explaining the reason for the divorce, Anubhav Mohanty recently said: “I have given only one reason behind the divorce in my application which is that we do not live as a couple. I have not been allowed to exercise my marital rights yet. We haven’t had a physical relationship for 8 consecutive years. Now you need to decide why and for how long the husband should bear it.
