West Indies will play 5 T20I Series matches against India including 2 in Florida

Cricket West Indies (CWI) has confirmed that India will play a handful of T20 Internationals in the United States. In a statement released on Wednesday (June 1), CWI confirmed that the Indian team is scheduled to play some limited series matches against the West Indies in Florida, USA.

“The eight-game Indian Whiteball Tour starting in August will conclude with an exciting weekend of back-to-back T20 international matches at Broward County Cricket Stadium in Lauderhill, Florida, which will be played on August 6-7.” He said, “Earlier these matches were scheduled to be played on Caribbean soil.

The Indian team’s tour of the West Indies will now begin on July 22, while the final match of the tour will be played on August 7. Next, the Indian team will go on tour of Sri Lanka for the T20 series of two matches, where the team will later play in the 2022 Asian Cup as well.

Cricket West Indies stated, “The first T20I on Friday, July 29 will be historic as the first men’s T20I to be played at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad. The venue for the second and third consecutive T20I matches is Warner Park, St. Kitts. Which coincides with Emancipation Day and Cultorama Day celebrations. “.
