Users have five months
According to the WhatsApp tracker, WABetaInfo, WhatsApp will stop supporting the above-mentioned iPhones from October 24, 2022, that is, these iPhone users have about five months. After October 24, 2022, all WhatsApp features will not be able to work properly on devices running iOS 10 and iOS 11. The lowest support base will be iOS 12 and above to fully enjoy the features of WhatsApp.
This model is not compatible with iOS 12
The Apple iPhone 5 and iPhone 5C are not compatible with iOS 12 and therefore these users will not be able to use WhatsApp as the new changes come into effect. WhatsApp simply means upgrading the security of chats and other features within the app.
