Yashwant Sinha, the opposition candidate for the post of President of the Republic, said that this election is not an identity but an ideology. All the opposition parties to the BJP, have the support of all parties. Apart from BJP and opposition parties, there are some political parties in between. The BJP would like to attract such parties and we would like to have their support. BJD and many regional parties fall into this category.
Presidential candidate Yashwant Sinha told the Hindustan Times that he will present his nomination papers on June 27. Before that, he can come to Ranchi and meet leaders of other parties including JEM and Congress and seek the support of all.

Yashwant Sinha offered his best wishes to NDA candidate Draupadi Murmo and said that there should be no doubt within the JMM regarding tribal identity. He said a union of millions of immigrants should be with me in this election. Because here it is not a question of identity, it is a question of ideology. The people of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha also participated in the meeting of the opposition parties on the presidential elections. He supported my candidacy.
Yashwant Sinha said that in Indian politics, there is the BJP on one side and the political parties supported by the United Progressive Alliance on the other. Among them are many parties that are not on either side. I will talk with all parties to present such parties in my favor. When asked that several leaders are suggesting you should not run for the NDA candidate Draupadi Murmo, he said it is Babulal Marandi of the BJP. But I will not return to support anyone as I stand in the elections with the support of the opposition.
